Mick Mathis graduated from UCLA with a BA in Philosophy. During his time at UCLA, he was involved in several high-profile first amendment and academic freedom disputes. Mick is intimately familiar with campus happenings and regularly monitors for events or instances in which Bruins’ rights are threatened. Mick is also familiar with the University’s Greek life system, having spent several years in leadership roles there himself. In June of 2017, Mick was recognized as a Free Speech Defender by Campus Reform for his First Amendment advocacy.
